Explosion Rocks Synagogue in Liège, Belgium.

Early today, a blast damaged the historic synagogue in Liège, Belgium. Around 4 a.m., the explosion shattered windows at the 1899 site on Rue Léon Frédéric—no injuries, but significant material harm.

Police suspect it as a possible antisemitic act, with counter-terror units on scene. Mayor Willy Demeyer condemned the “violent” targeting of Jewish heritage. No suspects named yet.
