On Sunday, Israel launched several airstrikes on several positions in Western and Southern Gaza. Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched the airstrikes in response to a rocket that was fired from Gaza strip hit Southern Israel in Ashkelon. No casualties or injuries were reported in the rocket attack.

Israel also utilized combat helicopters in the operation. Two rocket manufacturing sites, a military compound and underground infrastructures were targeted in the operation. Hamas group which rules Gaza did not release any information regarding any deaths or injuries.
