Fire at Ahmedabad factory in India.

In the early hours of Wednesday, a massive blaze broke out at a chemical factory in Ahmedabad factory in India. The fire spread to other buildings in the Vatva industrial area of Gujarat’s Ahmedabad city.
The fire also spread to temporary shelters made for construction workers near the factory. The workers managed to escape in time. An official from the fire brigade said,
Around 40 fire fighting vehicles were pressed into service. The blaze was brought under control after about four hours. Water is still being sprayed as part of the cooling operation.

No casaulties or injuries were reported. An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire.
