The Energy Minister of Israel Yuval Steinitz claimed that Iran will manage to obtain a nuclear weapon in one or two years contrary to the false beliefs that Iran was ‘weeks’ away from obtaining the bomb.
If they do everything to break out, it will be half a year; in terms of nuclear weapons, they are a year or two away.

The Energy Minister said that Donald Trump’s sanctions on Iran and withdrawing from the 2015 nuclear agreement weakened Iran. Mr. Steinitz comments were in response to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken who last Sunday claimed that Iran was months away from creating a nuclear weapon. Mr. Blinken also said that the time-frame could be reduced to a few weeks if Iran violates more restrictions of the 2015 nuclear deal.
The time that it would take Iran to produce enough fissile material for a nuclear weapon is down to, we think, a few months. It’s a problem that could get more acute, because if Iran continues to lift some of these restraints imposed by the agreement, that could get down to a matter of weeks.

Isn’t Israel – the most aggressive country – a nuclear power itself; the only one in the middle east?
So what gives, Mr. Steinitz? Iran, a very old culture is one of the most peaceful countries on earth, while you’re driving the last living Palestinians into the sea, you genocidal maniacs. 😦
