A Lebanese owned cargo ship, UK Diversity, sank on Wednesday off the coast of Libya in the Mediterranean Sea. The cargo ship which was fully loaded, was en-route to Nigeria when it encountered rough seas.
It is believed that the cargo ship approached 175km off the coast of Libya in an attempt avoid the rough seas, but unfortunately, it succumbed to the rough seas, lost power and than it sank.
A passing tanker and a cargo-ship were involved in rescuing all 11 crew members, and were taken to Benghazi, Libya.
Praise the Lord that all 11 crew members were saved!
