Early morning on Wednesday, an explosion ripped through a COVID-19 testing center in North Amsterdam, Holland.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that the testing center was targeted, and the explosion went off shortly before the center opened.
The area has been cordoned off, and the police said that the explosive was placed there, and ‘some metal’ had caused the explosion. There were no casualties or injuries, but only some minor damage in the surroundings such as shattered windows.
We don’t know yet exactly what exploded, the explosives experts must first investigate. What we’re saying is that something like that doesn’t just happen by accident, it has to be laid.Police spokesman Menno Hartenberg
