Passenger plane crashes in Eastern Russia.

On Tuesday afternoon (Russia local time), a passenger plane with 27 people on board crashed into the sea in the far east Russia.
The plane an Antonov An-26 aircraft is operated by Kamchatka Aviation Enterprise. It left Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky airport around 1pm on Tuesday and had to land at Palana when it lost radio contact around 3pm in the remote Kamchatka peninsula. According to several sources the plane might have crashed in the ground in Palana or in the sea.
A search and rescue operation with two helicopters, plane and several naval vessels have been deployed.
