USGS reported that an hour ago a 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck the North Pacific Ocean, 122 mi west of Coos Bay, Coos County, Oregon, USA at a shallow depth of 10km.
The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might revised later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their report.
Based on preliminary data the earthquake should not have caused any significant damage. Weak shaking was most likely felt in Indian Bay (pop: 1,150) located 176km away from the epicenter.
