According to Cypriot media, a Turkish naval ship fired warning shots at a Cypriot coastguard vessel. The report also says that the Turkish vessel used dangerous maneuvers off the northwestern coast of Cyprus to force the Cypriot boat to leave the area. It is believed to have have occured on Thursday at around 3.30am.

The three-member Turkish coastguard boat continued to chase the Cypriot coastguard boat and firing warnings shots at it, in an attempt to force it to enter the port of Kato Pyrgos.
