Israel Air Force bombarding Aleppo, Syria.

The Israeli Airforce targeted the Al-Safirah area in the province of Aleppo on Monday night. The Syria air defense was activated and fired missile to counter the Israeli fighter jets.

According to local SANA news agency, the Syrian air defences managed to repel the Israeli attack. The area is known to have been the site of a missile production facility for the Syrian regime. According to local news media, they attempted to target a scientific research center.

No casualties or injuries have been reported so far. This is the first time Israeli fighter jets targeted targets in Syria since early June when it targeted several positions near the village of Khirbet al-Tin on the outskirts of Homs and an arms depot of the Lebanese-terror group Hezbollah.
