Flooding has been reported in the Black Sea coastal provinces of Artvin and Rize after heavy raining in the area. Footage uploaded on social media showed streams of mud water similiar to what was recently seen in Germany, France, Netherlands and China.

In the province of Rize, heavy raining also led to landslides and many people have been reported to be trapped. In the province of Artvin, flooding killed a person after he drowned in the streams of water. Many towns are unreachable due to the landslides.
