Local police reported that on Friday morning one man was stabbed while a teenager was fatally shot in Denver.

On the early hours of Friday at around 1am, the Denver Police Department tweeted that they were at the scene of the shooting in the 15200 block of E. 40th Avenue. Later on, before 8.30am, the police department tweeted that there were two people involved in the incident. One man was stabbed in the attack but survived, while the teenager succumbed to his wounds after being shot.

No arrests have been made but police are investigating the incident and started searching for the possible suspects. It is not yet known what was the motive behind the attacks.
