Exact details of the accident are not clear yet, but the attack seem to have occured in the afternoon, and the policeman was on a bus platform when he was attacked. It seems that the police officer was shot but soon afterwards a defense official said that the officer was stabbed. Police officers immediately responded and opened fire on the attacker. During the incident the Pentagon went into lockdown.According to Chief Woodrow Kusse there were several casualties, but so far we know only that a police officer died. He said that they are not looking for other suspects.
