Moments ago the United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported that a 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck 252 Km southeast of Ust’-Kamchatsk Staryy, Russia at a depth of 38km.
Since the earthquake has just occurred, the exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be changed again later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their own reports.
Since the area is sparsely populated the earthquake was most likely felt by a small number of people located close to the epicenter.
