Just minutes ago, the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) reported a 5.9-magnitude earthquake in Tanimbar Islands Reg., Indonesia at a shallow depth of 10km.
Since the earthquake has just occurred, the exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be changed again later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their own reports.
The earthquake was most likely felt as weak shaking in the cities of Tual, Lospalos, Gunung Dilarini and Amahai. More details to follow.
