The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported that a 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Oregon, United States at a shallow depth of 10km.

Since the earthquake has just occurred, the exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be changed again later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their own reports.

The earthquake was most likely felt as a weak shaking in Indian bay. More details to follow.
