A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck minutes ago in Kerman, 157 km northeast of Bandar Abbas, Hormozgan, Iran at a depth of 10km.

The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be changed again later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their own reports.

The light earthquake was most likely felt a small number of people. The closest towns or cities that should have felt a weak shaking include Minab, Bam and Bandar Abbas.
