On Saturday morning, the Israel Defense Forces said that two rockets from the Gaza strip were fired into Tel Aviv. The first rocket landed in the sea off the coast of Jaffa at around 7am, while the second landed also in the sea, but off the coast of Palmachim, south of the city of Rishon Lezion. The explosions were heard by most Central Israeli cities.
The Iron Dome system was not activated and there were no sirens as the rockets trajectory was not in populated areas. Terror groups from Gaza blamed the rockets on ‘weather conditions’. This attack comes days after an Israeli civilian was shot near the Gaza border last Wednesday.
