Moments ago, the German Research Centre for Geosciences reported a 6.1-magnitude earthquake in the North Pacific Ocean, Panama at a shallow depth of 10km.
The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be changed again later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their own reports.
The strong earthquake was felt by may towns and cities close to the epicenter. More details about any injuries and infrastructural damage is currently being sought.
