A 5.2-magnitude earthquake hits Nicobar Islands, India.

An hour ago a 5.2-magnitude earthquake struck Andaman Sea and Nicobar Islands, India, 243 km northwest of Banda Aceh, Indonesia at a depth of 0km.

The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be changed again later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their own reports, but it is unlikely.

The earthquake was felt in towns such as Sabang, Banda Aceh, Sigli and Reuleuet, Indonesia. More details to follow.
