A 4.0-magnitude earthquake in Morocco.

Minutes ago a 4.0-magnitude earthquake was reported in Alboran Sea, 36 km northeast of Al Hoceima, Morocco at a shallow depth of 2km.

The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be changed again later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their own reports, but it is unlikely.

Several towns or cities close to the epicenter felt a weak shaking. These include Al Hoceima, Tirhanimîne, Imzouren, Bni Bouayach, Midar and Al Aaroui.
