Minutes ago a 5.0-magnitude earthquake struck 170 Km W of Port McNeill, Canada at a depth of 52km.

The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might still be changed again later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their own reports, but it is unlikely.

The earthquake was most likely felt as weak shaking in Vernon, Tofinu, Campbell River (Strathcona), Courtenay (Comox Valley), Ucluelet and Powell River.
