The Memphis hospital is currently in lockdown due to an active shooter that shot and injured eight people. Memphis Police Department said that the shooting occurred at Methodist North Hospital on Covington Pike around 12:47 a.m. Tuesday. The shooter is still at large.

Memphis police found a silver sedan that had stopped near an intersection close to hospital grounds outside the emergency departments’ room. There were 20 bullet holes in the car on the driver’s side. More details to follow.
