Early on Tuesday, an explosion occured in Thailand’s southern Songkhla railway station killing at least three railway workers and injured four others.
The accident occurred at 6.24am local time. Days ago another explosion occured just 200 metres far away from today’s. Saturday’s explosion derailed a freight train. Last week’s explosion was believed to be a terror attack by Southern Thailand insurgents. Security officials and the bomb disposal teams have started their investigation to determine if today’s explosion was also caused by the insurgents.
