A suicide bomber struck central Moscow early Tuesday, February 24, 2026—marking four years since Russia’s Ukraine invasion—detonating near a police patrol vehicle outside Savyolovsky Railway Station.The blast, equivalent to 300g TNT, killed the bomber and two police officers instantly, critically injuring two others with shrapnel wounds.
