The number of new coronavirus cases in Scotland falls to single figures.

The number of cases in Scotland fell to single figures, until on Friday it rose to 18 cases. Even though, Scotland is containing the virus really well, first minister Nicola Sturgeon warned that it is not over. For the third day in a row, Scotland reported no new deaths, and on Saturday the number of cases fell back to single figures.
Nicola Sturgeon said on Twitter on Saturday, ‘Positive cases in past 24 hours back in single figures (7) after yesterday increase.’
‘Also, another day with no registered deaths amongst people who had tested positive.’
‘Progress still good – but with significant easing of lockdown next week, we all must take care StaySafe.’
The total number of cases in Scotland now stands at 18,340, while the number of dead remained at 2,490.
