China locks down 400,000 people near Beijing after a surge in cases.

In Hebei province, Chinese authorities imposed a strict lockdown after a small surge of cases was recorded.
Even though there was a small surge of cases the lockdown will still be imposed,and was done to prevent the second wave at all costs. The lockdown, which was officially announced on Sunday, would be, ‘fully enclosed and controlled’.
Essentials workers are the only workers allowed to go out, and only one member per household can go out and do the shopping.
Non-residents won’t be allowed to enter communities, houses or villages. Anyone caught violating the rules will be punished by the police.
