Greek PM to attend a meeting with French President regarding defense.

On September 10, Greek prime minister Kyriakos Mitsokatis will be attending a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron. During the meeting the Greek PM and French President will discuss defense procurement.
Greece is expected to purchase several military equipment from France. They will discuss the details on the agreement of purchase of French made Dassault-made 4.5 generation Rafale jets. Greece is also expected to purchase new frigates. It was reported that France will buy back some of the Greek’s Mirage 2000-5 fighter jets.
In total Greece will purchase 2 frigates and 12 -18 Rafale jet fighters, in an attempt to boost their military.
