The fragile ceasefire that was brokered by Russia last week, was reportedly violated a number of times. Both countries blamed each other for several attacks.
On Saturday, Azerbaijan accused Armenia of launching another missile attack on the city of Ganja. There were 13 casualties and 52 injured. It is the second time the city was attacked, since the ceasefire came into effect. Azerbaijani officials believe that it was a scud missile that landed on the city of Ganja, destroying 20 residential buildings.
Azerbaijan President,Ilham Aliyev said,
Azerbaijan will give its response and it will do so exclusively on the battlefield.

Armenia denied the accusations made by Azerbaijan and they accused Azerbaijan of firing twice using artillery. Last Friday, Armenia accused Azerbaijan of launching a night time drone strike destroying seven artillery pieces in Karmir Shuka, in Southeast Nagorno-Karabakh. There were no casualties.
Now, one week after the truce brokered by Russia, both Armenia and Azerbaijan agreed to a new humanitarian ceasefire that came into effect on Saturday at midnight.
