Qatar reports 203 new cases.

On Saturday, Qatari Ministry of Public Health reported 203 new cases over the past 24 hours. Out of these new cases, 157 were community transmission cases, while 46 were from travelers returning home from abroad. The total number of PCR tests reached all time high on Saturday after 4163 people were tested.
Over the past 24 hours, there were 33 cases of hospital admissions. This puts the number of COVID-19 patients that currently require hospitalization to 298. Also, two COVID-19 patients were transferred to the intensive care unit (ICU) due to a secondary infection. There are 36 patients in the intensive care unit .
Coronavirus restrictions in Qatar are currently being eased as the number of cases have reduced and stabilized. Back in Mid-May, Qatar was reporting upwards of 1500 cases a day. The Health authorities emphasized the importance of the face mask, washing hands often, social distancing and avoiding close contact with other people and avoiding crowds.
Qatar reported a total of 135,570 cases and 234 deaths since the pandemic began. There were 132,577 recoveries and 1,044,873 people were tested so far.
