UAE reports 1,148 new cases.

On Monday, United Arab Emirates (UAE) reported 1,148 new cases and two deaths. A total of 87,635 COVID-19 tests were carried out, and 579 patients recovered.
Recently, UAE hosted Gitex Technology week amid the pandemic. The crown prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum deemed it a success. The event started on Sunday. The crown prince said during the event that the UAE demonstrated global leadership in economic recovery.
Recently, Dubai exempted all passengers arriving from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman) from requiring to provide a pre-flight COVID-19 test. Passengers arriving from the Gulf countries only require to do a PCR test upon arrival in Dubai.
A total of 177,577 cases and 594 deaths have been reported in UAE since the pandemic began.
