On Tuesday, an explosion was heard over the capital city of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. The plume of smoke of the explosion was seen in the sky.
The exact cause of the explosion is still not determined, but Saudi-owned al-Arabiya TV said that a number of witnesses saw a missile being intercepted over the sky of Riyadh. The same witnesses said that they heard two bangs and a plume of smoke in the sky.
If it was a missile, it would mean that it is the second time a missile was fired towards the city in less than three days. Last Saturday, military officials leading the Saudi Coalition in the Yemen war, said that they intercepted a missile heading towards the city.
