Two explosions were reported in the city of Kabul, Afghanistan today. The explosions seem to have happened due to the activation of magnetic mines.

The first explosion was reported in ‘Pol E company’ area of the fifth security district of Kabul. No casualties were reported in this explosion. The mines were aimed for the police.

The second explosion occured in the area of ‘Saleem Caravan’ in the tenth security district of Kabul. One person was killed in this explosion and four civilians were injured.

The situation in Kabul is deteriorating fast, as the capital is experiencing explosions and targeted assassinations every day. An investigation has been launched to determine which group carried out the attacks. When no group claims the explosions, the Afghan government tends to put the blame on Taliban. ISIS tend to immediately claim any attacks they carry out in the country.
