As of Sunday, China has administered more than 65 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. In Beijing alone, 10 million doses were administered.

The country aims to administer 4 million doses a day from the current rate of a million per day, to reach the target of vaccinating 40% of the Chinese population by end of June 2021.

Tian Yulong who works with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology believes that the pace of 4 million doses a day will be reached.
