A 4.4-magnitude earthquake strikes Alaska.

Two hours ago, USGS reported a 4.4-magnitude earthquake in the Gulf of Alaska, 119 miles southwest of Saint Paul, Kodiak Island, Alaska, United States at a shallow depth of 20.1km. The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), reported the quake as a magnitude 4.4 earthquake.
As is usual, the exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might revised in the next hours or minutes as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their report.
Towns or cities that might have felt a weak shaking include Akhiok (pop.72) located 38 miles from the epicenter.
