A 4.0-magnitude earthquake strikes Humboldt County, California.

Minutes ago USGS reported that a 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck the North Pacific Ocean, 75 mi west of Eureka, Humboldt County, California, USA at a shallow depth of 4.6km.

The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might revised later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their report.
