A 4.3-magnitude earthquake strikes Humboldt County, California, USA.

Moments ago USGS reported that a 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck 34 miles south of Eureka, Humboldt County, California, USA at a depth of 27.6km.

As is usual, the exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might revised later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their report.

The quake was most likely felt in several towns or cities such as Scotia (Humboldt County), Fortuna (Humboldt County), Redway, Eureka (Humboldt County) and Bayside (Humboldt County) located 27, 34, 49, 55 and 62km respectively. We will await more details about any possible infrastructure damage and how far the quake was actually felt.
