Fire on San Francisco Bridge.

On Thursday morning, a utility truck caught on fire in San Francisco Bridge, United States blocking the traffic for several minutes. The traffic on the bridge has since returned to normal but the plume of thick black smoke could be still seen from miles away.

It was also reported that due to the fire two propane tanks exploded. The bridge was promptly closed and fire fighters extinguished the flames very quickly. For a brief period, both lanes were closed for cleanup, safety inspections and possibly bridge repairs.

It is not yet known what caused the fire and an investigation has been launched. More details to follow.
