Four people were injured after an unidentified person opened fire in Perm’s State University.

On Monday, an unidentified person entered the university building and opened fire. Some students locked themselves in universities auditoriums to hide from the attacker. Some students jumped out of the windows. Law enforcement agents are heading to the site.

Video footage shared on Twitter showed people jumping from first-floor windows to escape the shooter.

In another footage it showed a wounded person on the floor with serious injuries. It is believed that the shooter which was armed with a machine gun. The attacker was shot and arrested.

Update: Eight people have been killed.
