Moments ago a massive blaze struck a high rise building under construction near Times Square in Manhattan. Video footage revealed smoke billowing from the high-rise building.

The New York fire department said that the fire broke out on the 10th floor of the 49th story building. An investigation into the cause of the fire has been launched. More details to follow.

Update: No injuries were reported.
