The German Research Centre for Geosciences reported a 5.9-magnitude earthquake in Mindanao, Philippines at a shallow depth of 10km.
The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be changed again later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their own reports, but it is unlikely.
The earthquake was felt in a number of towns or cities, including Pondaguitan, Caburan, Malita, Mati, Malungan, General Santos City and Digos.
