Russia attacks several Ukrainian cities – Belarus joins in the attacks near the border.

A few hours Russian tanks and fighter jets launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Multiple explosions were heard in several cities as several military airports, including in Kiev came under attack. Other cities include Lugansk, Kharkiv and Chernihiv Before the attack. Cruise missiles, guided bombs and GRAD rockets were used by Russian forces to destroy military bases, airfields, command posts and ammo dumps. The Russian President, Vladimir Putin urged all Ukrainian soldiers to surrender their weapons if they want to avoid being attacked.
The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy declared martial law in whole of Ukraine. Several leaders around the world expressed their concern and have urged Russian forces to retreat.
It is believed that Belarus also deployed its tanks and are located also close to the Ukrainian border. The are unconfirmed reports that Belarusian soldiers also opened fire on Ukrainian border force. Civilian casaulties have already been reported.



Ukrainian civilians are fleeing cities and heading to the West. Meanwhile, Europe and United States are preparing heavy sanctions against Russia.



Updates: Ukrainian fighter jet entered Romanian airspace and was escorted by two Romanian fighter jets to the eastern city of Bacau. The Ukrainian military pilot is being held in Romania. Authorities claimed that necessary legal measures will be taken.
