Kiev Independent reported powerful explosions in Kharkiv as Russian forces use more area-of -effect weapons on Ukrainian cities. It is known that Russian forces are using thermobaric weapons frequently.

Multiple people have been killed and more than 100 have been injured in the Russian attacks. The city, which is Ukraine’s second largest was pummeled by Russian airstrikes and thermobaric weapons. Ukraine’s military also said that Russian paratroopers landed in Kharkiv in an attempt to capture the city.

So far as of today the Russian forces lost around 6,000 soldiers, 200+ tanks, 30 helicopters, 30 fighter jets and 800 armoured vehicles.

Update: overnight shelling resulted in 21 casualties.
