Gas explosion in Stupino near Moscow.

On Monday at 5:45am Moscow time, a gas explosion occured in the fourth floor of a 5-story residential building in the town of Stupino, 60 miles south of Moscow, Russia.

Based on preliminary information there are two people confirmed dead and five injured, which includes a child. The Ministry of Emergency Situations said the explosion was caused by a gas leak.

Update: Ten were injured. A 12-year old child is among those killed in the explosion.
