South Africa is in the top 5 in terms of the total number of cases. Over the past 24 hours, South African authorities reported 13,150 cases and 572 deaths. Wednesday night was the worst day for South Africa in its fight against the coronavirus.

The struggle of the most developed country in Africa is a wake up call to all African nations, as the spread of the coronavirus is gathering pace in the continent.

Recently, South Africa also reported that two ministers were found to be positive for the virus and had to be hospitalized.

So far, South Africa recorded 394,948 cases and 5,940 since the pandemic began.
