Explosion in POSCO plant in South Korea.

On Tuesday, South Korean authorities reported an explosion at a plant in Gwangyang, owned by the steelmaker, POSCO. Three people died in the explosion.
The explosion took place at 4pm, which resulted in a massive blaze. Around 173 firefighters were deployed to the scene. Luckily, the firefighters responded quickly and the fire was extinguished in 20 minutes.
It has been reported that two explosions occurred in the plant, in five minutes. This occurred while POSCO’s test lab was testing an unused waste heat generator. Apart from those killed, five other employees were injured.
An investigation has been launched to determine the actual cause of the explosion.
