A 5.9-magnitude earthquake and an aftershock of the same magnitude struck Indian Bay, Oregon, United States.

Early Friday morning at 12.52am local time, a 5.9- magnitude an earthquake struck 98 miles southwest of Indian Bay, Oregon, United States. A few minutes later at 1:17am, an aftershock of the same magnitude struck the same region. According to USGS there is no risk of a tsunami.
The earthquake occured at a shallow depth of around 5.6 mile while the aftershock occured slightly deeper. No significant damage was reported, and most likely people only felt a slight shaking.
