A 3.1-magnitude earthquake strikes off the coast of Oregon.

A few hours ago a 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Oregon in the North Pacific Ocean at a shallow depth of 10km.

The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the earthquake might be revised in the next few hours as seismologists review their data. Based on preliminary data it is believed that the earthquake have not caused a lot of damage.

The earthquake did not cause any significant damage and most likely caused some weak shaking in the nearby towns or cities.
