An hour ago, USGS reported an earthquake that struck 15 miles southeast of Lone Pine, Inyo County, California, USA at a very shallow depth of 0.5km.
The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the earthquake might be revised in the next few hours as seismologists review their data. Based on preliminary data it is believed that the earthquake did not cause any significant damage.
Towns and cities nearby most likely felt a weak shaking.
