Moments ago, USGS reported a 3.5-magnitude earthquake that struck Lincoln County, 30 miles east of Edmond, Oklahoma County, USA at a shallow depth of 2km. The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported the quake at 3.5-magnitude.
The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the earthquake might be revised in the next few hours as seismologists review their data. Based on preliminary data it is believed that the earthquake did not cause any significant damage.
Some towns or cities might have felt a weak shaking. These include Stillwater (pop. 49,000) located 23 miles from the epicenter, Edmond (pop. 90,100) 29 miles away, Shawnee (pop. 31,300) 32 miles away, and Midwest City (pop. 57,200) 33 miles away.
